First Post on the upcoming NASCAR season...

I'm just going to throw this out there as a prediction for the 2007 NASCAR season. With the Chase being changed to allow 12 drivers, rather than 10, to compete for the Nextel Cup, now is as good of a time as any to predict who the 12 drivers will be competing for the title after Richmond in September.

In no particular order here is my prediction about the 12 Chase drivers in 2oo7...

1) Jimmie Johnsnon
2) Jeff Gordon
3) Kyle Busch
4) Tony Stewart
5) Carl Edwards
6) Kurt Busch
7) Matt Kenseth
8) Kasey Kahne
9) Greg Biffle
10) Dale Jr.
11) Kevin Harvick
12) Denny Hamlin

Of course, I could be totally wrong, but I foresee another rough year for Dodge and only slightly better things for Ford. Not going out on a limb when I say a Chevy driver will win the Cup and Chevy is likely to win more than half of the races this year...
